THE BIGGER PICTURE.

This morning, I bought a book by Grant Cardone. Now, I didn’t buy the book because of the book, I bought it because of the extra bonuses I’d get for buying that book. There are six of them. Those are worth more than the $7 I paid for the book itself.

Last year, I paid N100,000 for Steve Harris’ Mastering the Business of your Talent Masterclass. I wasn’t just paying to master the business of my talent, I was paying for ACCESS to Steve Harris and access to the network of other MBT members.

In 2016, I packed my bags and went to South Africa for one week, for a convention that I wasn’t even qualified to be part of, not because of what was going to be taught there, but because it was an opportunity to be among one of the largest gathering of millionaires, and I mean millionaires in dollars. It does something to your mindset.

I have paid for several live Masterclasses by John Obidi, not that I’m clueless about online business, but because I will be hosting my live Masterclass soon, and I need to learn how to speak to my tribe live, for hours on end, without losing track of the topic or losing the energy in the room. Also, it affords me the opportunity to meet members of my tribe face to face.

I have bought several online courses, software and programs, not because I had immediate need for them, but because I want to reverse-engineer them, to see how they were put together, how their sales copies were crafted, what made me buy, how the programs were delivered, and how the results were achieved. I create online programs, so I want to know how others do theirs so I can be better.

You see, learning to see the bigger picture for every action that you take, sets you apart from the rest. You learn faster, fail less and fly higher. Never take any opportunity at surface value. Deconstruct and reverse engineer it to find the hidden doors and passages that could blow up that one opportunity into several.

Ask yourself this anytime an opportunity comes for you to buy a training, a software, a program or even to meet someone: How else can I make this work for me? What’s the bigger picture? How will this benefit me in the next one year? How can I be this person in the next 6 months? How best will this relationship serve me?

Being intentional about everything you do will help you see the bigger picture and find opportunities as diamonds in the rough.

My advice to you: Never miss an opportunity simply because it doesn’t look like you need it NOW.
