I was invited on foremost Nigerian Legal Finance firm Leadway Capital, to talk about myths surrounding Personal Development, and my goal was to tie it back to the Company’s mission. Some of you were on that live broadcast on Instagram.
During the session, my interviewer asked me how my finances were affected by the Covid 19 pandemic and I told him the truth- my income has gone up since the pandemic and continues to do so. This is not just my reality, this is the reality for my Coaching clients and members of School of Influence.
Why is it that there is a set of people doing well despite the pandemic while another set seems to be struggling? The answer is that while one set lives life by design, and in this case, re-design, the other set has continued to carry on business as usual.
THERE IS NO BUSINESS AS USUAL ANYMORE!
The world has changed and we are now living in a new reality. There are things that will never go back to the way they used to be anymore. Don’t sit down and cross your hands waiting for the world to return to “normal”. We are now living in a new normal.
You better embrace this normal and re-design your life to benefit from it, or do like the people who refused to accept technology and are now struggling to play catch-up when the whole world has left them behind.
I knew- as did a lot of other Thought Leaders and Entrepreneurs just like myself- that a change was coming. If you study world history, you will know that history always repeats itself and there is a 100 years economic cycle that either makes people poor or rich, depending on how people position themselves. To know your future, sometimes you have to look to your past. That’s what smart people do.
The question now is, will you keep being delusional, crossing your hands waiting for the world to return to what you think is normal, or will you wake up, re-design your life and business for this new reality?
Three types of people will emerge during this time: Billionaires, Millionaires and Witnesses. Which one will you be?
