In January of 2017, I launched my first “online course” on Goal Setting. I didn’t know at the time that what I was doing, was a 7-Day Online Workshop and not an Online Course. I earned my first N35,000 from that digital product.
In February, I earned nothing.
In March, I launched another online course “Turn Your eBook into a Money Machine”. It earned me N70,000.
In April and May, I earned nothing.
At that point, I was smart and humble enough to admit to myself that my challenge wasn’t selling or creating excellent products. My challenge was Clarity.
As a beginner, I focused my attention on all the things that I saw my Coaches doing, forgetting that these Coaches were several steps ahead of me.
When I decided to pause everything and instead find clarity so I could properly start on the right footing, I wrote “The A – Z of eBook Publishing” in 11 days, launched it to a small audience of 502 people in a brand new Facebook group and made 6 figures in sales every week for the first 6 weeks.
It changed my life!
So many of you reading this are still too stubborn to admit that your challenge is not that you don’t know how to sell or that you cannot create good products.
Your challenge is that you are not clear on what your message is, what your real solution is, who your solution is for and what platforms you should be offering those solutions on.
Until you get that first step right, you will just be like a car trying to accelerate with the hand breaks still on. Eventually you will lose momentum, motivation and eventually, the drive to continue.
