Estimated reading time: 2 minutes
If you’re reading this and you’ve already given up on 2021, please stop reading. This post isn’t for you.
This is for the people who believe that the year isn’t over until 00:00 January 1st, 2022, and that anything can happen in the next few months to completely change their lives and businesses.
Take out your pen and journal and answer the following questions, then based on your answers, get to work immediately:
On a scale of 1 – 10, how has my business fared this year?
On a scale of 1 – 10, how much of my financial goals did I achieve?
What did I do right?
What did I do wrong?
What was my AHA moment?
What could I have done better?
Now that I know what I could have done better, what will I do to ensure the next few months are better than the last?
What is my financial goal for the next few months?
What will I use the income for? Is it a need or a want? How important is it?
What products and services will I sell to hit my new financial goal? What are their prices? How many of each do I need to sell to hit my financial goal?
Do I need to learn a new skill to enable me hit my financial goal? If yes, which one(s)? Who can I learn them from? How much do their solutions cost? When am i getting them?
Do I need a new tool or software to enable me hit my financial goal? If yet, which one(s)? How much do they cost? When am I getting them?
How will I hold myself accountable?
What will happen if I DON’T hit my goal?
What will happen if I DO hit my goal?
How will I commit to making sure I do what it takes to hit my financial goal?
Now that you have answered these questions, you have to get to work.
I dare you to dedicate the next few months to having a sickening work ethic.
I dare you to give up all excuses and fears, and adopt courage and dedication.
You cannot get results from work that you didn’t do.
You cannot put in minimum wage work ethic and expect to get millionaire results. Ko le werk. That’s insanity.
Your results are directly correlated with the effort you put in.
Now, go do that exercise and commit to taking action based on your answers.
This is not the time to complain about the events of the year, it’s time to take back the year and make it count for something.
Get to work.
