STOP THE USE OF ARBITRARY WORDS!

Inside my $1K Collective Membership, we are running a Visibility Challenge to help members refine their message, understand their target audience, choose the right platforms to grow their audience and reach customers through targeted content.

One of the major challenges I see new and even existing business owners have, is struggling to explain in simple terms, what it is that they do.

I know everyone wants to help people with income, impact and influence but let me tell you what I told my $1K Collective members: STOP 🛑

Stop using the “influence, impact and income” trope in your messaging. It has been overflogged. It’s time you evolved past arbitrary words and actually tell us what it is that you do.

Your audience is becoming smarter. When you use those words, it comes across as “I’m not yet sure what I want to do so I’ll use these filler words until I am.

This is one of the things I discovered I was skilled at, back when I would help members of my MBT class refine their messages during our live Coaching sessions with Steve Harris. I still do it for my 1:1 Coaching Clients and Inner Circle Members till this day.

Work on finally being able to articulate your message in a way that shows your target audience what you’re truly about and what kind of transformation you provide.

Work on getting clear on the kind of people who will actually pay you for your products and services.

Work on finding the best platform to spread your message and be your authentic self, while building an audience of buyers.
