SET YOUR INTENTIONS FOR 2022!

I know that by now, you either have your goals for 2022 or you’re in the process of having them written. You probably have updated your vision board if you have one, or you’re looking for a class where you can learn the art and science of vision boarding; and this is good.

In my 4 years of teaching Goal Setting, I have discovered one major flaw in people’s processes for setting and achieving their goals. They set their goals. They know the process to get there, but they fail to set intentions.

Setting intentions is the core part of goal setting, but I bet you’ve never even heard of it.

Let’s take for example, you want to earn N3 Million Naira from your Online Business in 2022.

You know you need to write books, create online courses, do paid speaking and trainings, and maybe have a coaching program.

You know how much you will charge for each of your offerings.

You know how many books you need to sell, how many online courses you need to launch, how much you want to charge per speaking engagement or consultation and how much your coaching program will be.

You know this very well because it probably was your goal for 2021 as well.

But you found yourself falling short of your goals; and if you continue like this, you will get the same results for 2022.

It was Albert Einstein who said that insanity is doing one thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

It’s time for you to interrupt that strategy that keeps giving you less than the results you want.

You do this by setting intentions.

Using our example above, for you to earn N3 Million from your Online Business using the offerings we listed above, you must build influence FAST.

Now that you know that influence is key, what must you then do to build it fast? The faster you build influence and the stronger your influence is, the easier you can hit your goals.

Here are some intentions you can set:

1. I will take x, y and z online courses on a, b and c topics so I can become better skilled in this area of my career.
2. I will connect with these 10 industry leaders so I can serve them, learn from them and build a relationship with them, which will grow my influence.
3. I will sign up for Ms. Kay’s Group Coaching or Mastermind so that I can understand how Group Coaching and Masterminds work.
4. I will save up to book a consultation session with Mr. Gee so that he can put me through what platforms to use in launching my courses.
5. I will read 10 pages of a good book in my chosen field everyday before going to bed.
6. I will travel to Dubai in 2022 so I can be inspired by their growth and activate my creative juices.
7. I will take one day in a week to rest so that I don’t fall sick or burn out.
8. I will send a gift to one influencer in my industry every month, to strengthen our relationship.
9. I will spend less time on social media so I can spend more time on my business.
10. I will save 65% of my income every month and commit to paying myself a salary.
11. I will set a specific amount of income that I will not fall below. For example. I will never make below N300,000 per month. I will commit to increasing my income quarterly.
12. I will be interviewed at least once every quarter on Radio, TV, Newspaper and a Blog.

These are examples of intentions you can set.

Now, if you set these intentions, do you now see how it will be easier to hit your goal of N3 Million?

All of these intentions you have set, if you follow them to the letter, they will increase your visibility, grow your influence, grow your audience, grow your skills, help you stay disciplined and ultimately grow your income.
