We’re a few days away from the end of the first “EMBER” month.
Some people are going into panic mode already and it is understandable. Your job, business and livelyhood likely took a beating these past months because of the global pandemic.
Now the ember months are signaling the end of the year and the future looks bleak.
Before you jump into that next opportunity to try to increase your income before December ends, take a breather, take out your notepad and journal and write down these 10 very important questions.
You must answer these questions as honestly and as explicitly as possible so that you can find clarity before you take the next step. You don’t want to end in tears.
These questions have helped me and many clients I’ve worked with over the years, find clarity either in their new or current businesses while they were at the point of increasing their income. They will help you too.
- What do I need to do to increase my income from X to Y every month?
- What do I need to sell or what service do I need to offer, that I’m already really good at, and one which people will be both willing and able to pay me for?
- Do I need to review the price points for my current products and services?
- How will my content, marketing and sales be like?
- Who do I need and what do I need them for?
- What needs to change from my current state?
- Do I need to introduce new products and new price points for them?
- How will I do better, going forward?
- How will I keep myself accountable?
- When the going gets tough, what will I do to ensure I stick to my goal?
Have you written them down? Good. Now remember to answer them sincerely. If you don’t, it won’t help you. Then get help where you need it.
You are 10 questions away from a totally different outcome and I am rooting for you.
