I had a late meeting yesterday with a friend and we discussed some new ways to inject cash into her business.
The strategies we came up with alone, can make her up to $2,000 extra every single month.
In the course of the conversation, one thing that kept coming up was MINDSET WORK.
You see, you are capable of adding an extra $2,000 or $20,000 per month into your business. I know you can.
What do you need to grow a $20,000 a month business?
- A Skill
- A way to turn that skill into money by creating products, services or a combination of both
- A platform to build an audience of people who will pay for those products and services
- The ability to sell your products and services to these people
Anyone can get any of these things listed above. In fact, I am willing to bet that you already have all these things. So what is holding you back?
It’s your MINDSET. That’s really all there is.
You cannot out-earn your mindset. You can only earn as much as you believe you are capable of earning.
If $200 a month is all your mindset allows you to earn, then that is where you will be stuck. That will be your ceiling until you work on your mindset to raise that invisible ceiling.
Humor me for a bit. Try to spend the rest of this month raising your mindset to double your current monthly revenue. Do these exercises:
- Get a cheque leaf or print one from the internet and write a cheque for double your current earning, to yourself. Put a date one month from now
- Take that cheque and tape it to your wardrobe or somewhere you can see it first thing in the morning and last thing at night
- Then, for the next one month, take out a new notebook and write this sentence 3 times, every morning and evening: “I am so grateful now that I have doubled my monthly income to (the amount in your cheque). I am worthy and I deserve it”.
- Then, begin to imagine that money in your bank account and imagine all the things you will do with it. Spend some time “daydreaming” about it. What will you wear to the store or which online ship will you visit. Be as vivid as possible.
- Finally, start to research opportunities that can earn you this amount of money. It doesn’t even have to come from your current products or services. Just put yourself in the mind zone of searching for opportunities every single day.
- This is the same exercise I have practiced since 2015 and I have never once earned less than what was in my cheque- from my first N100,000 month in 2015 to my first N1 Million in 2016, to my first N10 Million in 2019 and multiple 8-Figures since then.
- This is not to impress you but to impress upon you that mindset work is a continuous process. We are constantly faced with glass ceilings in our minds that we must constantly shatter.
- Look at your life today. Is there any area you are not impressed with? Work on your mindset and it will change your life. As a man thinketh in his heart, so shall he become.
