I was sitting in my office here in Dubai. The picture below is the first picture I have taken in the office since I got here. I had been so busy, I almost forgot to make a memory of this new routine.
Fridays are usually very quiet as the weekend starts on Friday here, rather than Saturday in most places. As I sat here working, I took a break to think about my journey.
I used to think I couldn’t imagine myself being where I am today, but the truth is, I actually did. I of course didn’t imagine I’d be here so soon, but I definitely did imagine myself in my office in some country other than Nigeria, preparing to give value to my audience.
This moment is actually on my vision board. I did not accidentally get here. I was intentional with my vision and with the strategies and processes along the way. Thanks to my “strong head”, my “sickening” work ethic and my never-ending hunger to grow, to act and to improve, I got here faster than I had imagined.
How many of you reading this, have a vision of WHERE you want to be in the next 1, 3 or 5 years in your business, but the HOW is what’s slowing you down? It’s absolutely clear what you want your business, influence, impact and income to be. You have that exact picture burned in your mind’s eye. But getting there seems to be the greatest challenge.
