ENTREPRENEURS ARE THE NEW CELEBRITIES

In November of 2016, I made a bold claim that Entrepreneurs are the new celebrities. I was little known at the time, but I was quietly and intentionally working on getting known.

Here’s what I said about Entrepreneurs being the new faces on media:

“It sounded like joke 2 years ago when I said it. It seemed like the only people who were destined to get on TV and get endorsements were actors and actresses, musicians, sports people and others who were already used to being in front of cameras.

Unknown to many people, another group of people were working in secret, working hard to make their names known. And they have succeeded. We now see entrepreneurs, authors, public speakers, thought leaders and the likes, on our TVs.

Arese Ugwu is on tv for Remi Martin, Steve Harris is on your phones with endorsements from telecommunications giants, just to mention a few.

Tim Sales said that “you have to be able to identify trends and then position yourself in front of them”. When you identify a trend and set yourself up in anticipation for it to happen, it can mean the difference between success and being ordinary.

What trends are you identifying in your industry?

Where do you see the world going in the next 2, 3, 5 or 10 years?

What are you doing right now to reap the full benefits of the new trend?

Innovation helps people and companies stay relevant. What are you doing to stay relevant?”

Today, the goals I set for myself in 2016 have begun to come to pass.

Today I am a three-time Amazon Bestselling Author.

Today I am an award-winning Entrepreneur.

Three months after launching my book on Publishing, I was nominated for an Award for Supportive Publisher of the Year.

Today I am an International Speaker.

Today I am featured in blogs and Magazines.

Today I can proudly say I have spoken at an event organized in partnership with Google.

Today I can add AXA Mansard Nigeria to the list of brands that have featured me.

Today I have partnered with International brands who found me on the same Facebook you take for granted.

Today I host a free Virtual Summit for my Facebook community with some of the brightest minds from Nigeria, Europe and the United States as speakers without paying them a dime.

It wasn’t luck. I was intentional about what I wanted, took action and got it.

No amount of prayers can help you if you are not intentional about your life and business.
