It’s the first working day of a new year for most and Here’s my advice to you:
Let wisdom and discretion guide you in all your activities and in your dealings with people. Don’t be in a haste to try to prove something to someone at the expense of making costly mistakes.
Guard your tongue and your thumbs. The internet is never forgets. Don’t be hasty to jump on every trend or share your opinion on every happening.
The internet is designed to bait you into spreading news because the more you contribute, the more content they have; and the more dirt the vultures of your future have against you.
Your opinion may not always be the right one and your opinion may change in future. Don’t forget that. We grew up believing there were 9 planets in our solar system. Today, there are 8. Guard yourself.
Let focus be your watchword for the year. Stay in your lane and grow there. Do not be perturbed by what everyone else is doing.
If you believe in what you’re doing and that it is the right fit for you, be blind to what the rest of the world is doing. In the end, you’ll either be called mad or genius depending on your results.
Don’t be quick to make enemies and have haters. They serve you no purpose. Friendly alliances and partnerships will help you. Focus on building that.
Discipline is the name of the season. Don’t be sleeping when it’s your season for planting. A lot of you have written your goals, intentions and made vision boards. Only less than 30% of you will actually make it till March.
Again, focus. Focus on your focus. Focus on what adds value to you and the people you serve. Focus on being the best version of yourself everyday. Focus on living purposefully and intentionally.
Finally, remember that there is no failure, only feedback. If you try something and it doesn’t work out, take the lessons from it and get back to work.
Success is not for the faint of heart and the weak, spineless humans who are afraid of getting beat up and knocked down. It is for those who are ready to toil, sweat and bleed for it.
The universe will not give you what you want, it will only give you what you deserve. What are you doing today to ensure that what you want is in alignment with what you deserve?
What mindsets, skill sets, tool sets and systems are you putting in place so you can be capable of receiving the blessings you have prayed for?
If you don’t prepare for it, you won’t get it.
Pray for it.
Plan for it.
Work for it.
Focus on it.
Don’t give up on it.
Get it.
